Sail Manufacture
We
manufacture sails for cruising and racing from club level to national and
international competition. We specialise in the manufacture of custom made
racing sails for racing dinghies and small keelboats. Also small cruiser sails
for luff lengths up to approximately 8mtrs. We have success in most of the
fleets where we are represented. All our sails are produced from quality

Sail Design
Our
experience of sail design spans some four decades. During this period sailmaking
has undergone some radical changes in both materials and manufacturing
techniques like laminated sail cloths, taped seam construction and accurate sail
panel patterns now enhanced by computer aided design. Alverbank have been at the
forefront of these developments. If you have particular requirements drop into

Sail Repair Service
We
repair all makes and types of sails up to 8metre maximum luff length. Certain
repair work can be carried out on larger sails by agreement. During the racing
season we endeavour to turn round most standard repairs within one week. While
you wait repairs may be fitted in by prior
arrangement.
